This year's parent conference will again be a thread within the full-day general conference and parents may choose to attend either the parent sessions or general conference (educator-focused) sessions that run at the same time as the parent conference.

Lunch and Dr. Nicole Tetreault's keynote, Gifted Brain 2.0: Understanding the Latest Neuroscience of Giftedness, are included.  Parents are also welcome to attend the Mental Health Panel during the last session of the general conference.

How can you help the child who resists help? What can you do when a child resists starting homework, responsibilities, being honest, turning things in, using a planner, organizing their backpack, checking the portal, reading, etc. etc. etc? These are students who say, I don’t feel like it, I’ll do it later, get off my back, leave me alone, why don’t you trust me, I’ve got this, stop being so annoying, etc.

He will provide practical strategies that will leave you better prepared to help move your struggling child forward when EF issues appear.
